分段組裝式，斜坡下來的膠片在掛鏈架上一檔一檔儲存掛起，使膠片冷卻干燥。全封閉一側(cè)裝有冷卻用軸流風(fēng)機，風(fēng)機垂直面或傾斜3°-5°在一側(cè)吹風(fēng)，快速把膠片上的隔離劑吹干。另一側(cè)裝有排氣通風(fēng)口兩端各裝有一個檢查門，箱內(nèi)裝有照明，受檢查門控制開關(guān)，箱底（鏈板上側(cè)）鋪有活動地板，便于維修。
